Hurrier

My mother used to say, "The hurrier I go the behinder I get!" And isn't that so! At times it is hard for me to get quiet and actually sit still for morning prayer and meditation, yet when I give myself to that pursuit, I wind up with more time somehow to get the day's chores done. It is a mystery of God's economy.
